We appreciated warm breakfasts!
Everything was simply great. We were in Asheville for 1 day, had excellent stay, the hotel was clean with ideal location close to downtown.
-
Hidden hotel with a good service. Remote location, at a moderate distance from Philip Deangelo Studio.
-
Well priced and clean hotel, efficient staff.
-
Location was nice. Easy access to a variety of activities, lots of on sight ameneties.
Elevator was did not work, lots of construction happening at facility. I requested a room on a higher floor and was given a room in the basement next to rooms used for sleep apnea studies. Room was very dark.
-
Excellent onsite restaurant and wait staff. Nice location, a bit hard to find. Amenities available were good, once you found them.
Facility is in disrepair, and desperately needs some renovation. Front desk help is, simply, not helpful. Housecleaning does a mediocre job. In room frig is worthless. No in room guest guide. No display case for surrounding attractions. Minimal sale items available at site. No offers for surrounding amenities available to guests, you need to discover yourself.
-
The kings sized bed and view.
The size of the bathroom, it was cramped and being a person of a larger scale it was a little tricky to manuever around the space.
-
Check-in was very easy and staff were helpful.
We didn't appreciate the flies in the lobby, but with doors opening and closing constantly, we understood the problem.
-
Proximity to attractions, hotel decoration.
Inconvenient building layout, no microwave in room, rude hostess at restaurant.
-
The location was perfect
The rooms were old, tub was clogged, tv didn't work
-
The bed was awesome and the front desk staff very friendly.
My suite balcony roof was kinda messed up, took away from the cleanliness. My room remote for the TV barely worked.
-
Location , staff,
Noisey the hotel looks like it is starting to get worn
-
Location was good and amenities outside he room were good
Apparently there are two parts to this hotel. One side was lower end and rundown and smelled like a pool with mildew especially in stairwells and elevators. Also there was the smell of cigarettes often. The room was rundown and not the quality we usually stay in. The other side of the hotel was upscale and would have been the side we would have chosen.
-
Overlook Restaurant was pricy for the food
-
The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor lounging facilities were relaxing with the rocking chairs.
The bathroom needed an air vent when bathing.
-
Easy location - once you find it - that's close to everything in Asheville. Friendly staff, went out of their way to help us.
They seem to be in the middle of a renovation - with some floors/wings a little more dated than others. Also, the tub had some drainage issues, which appears to be an ongoing issue.
